Area Management Overview (Web)

The Area Management tab in Terros lets managers visually create, assign, and edit sales territories on a map, making it easier to organize areas, track performance, and update boundaries as needed.

What is the Area Management Tab?

The Area Management tab provides a visual tool for managers to define and manage sales territories. It allows you to create designated areas on a map, assign them to users, and track their performance.

Main Screen Overview

The main screen of the Area Management tab displays a map with all existing sales areas marked. At the top of the screen, you will find several key features:

  • Map/Hybrid View: A button that allows you to switch between a standard map and a hybrid view.

  • + Add Area: A button that allows you to create a new sales area.

How to Add a New Area

  1. Click on + Add Area: From the main Area Management screen, click on the + Add Area button.

  2. Fill out the Area Details: The "Add Area" screen contains several fields that you can fill out. Required fields are marked with a red asterisk. These fields include: Area Name, Area Color, Area Note, and Assign to.

  3. Draw the Area: You can draw the area on the map by clicking on the map to create points. The area will be created once you have closed the shape.

  4. Create the Area: Once you have filled out all the required fields and drawn the area, click on the + Add Area button in the bottom right corner of the screen.

How to Edit an Existing Area

  1. Select an Area: From the main Area Management screen, click on the area you want to edit.

  2. Fill out the Area Details: The "Edit Area" screen contains several fields that you can fill out. Required fields are marked with a red asterisk. These fields include: Area Color, Area Note, Assign to, and a button to Edit Boundaries.

  3. Edit Boundaries: To modify the boundary of the area, click on the "Edit Boundaries" button. This will allow you to drag the points of the area to a new location.

  4. Delete Area: You can delete an area by clicking on the "Delete Area" button in the "Danger Zone" section.
