Canvass includes a core set of free filters available to all users. These filters help you sort neighborhoods by basic property details and general home characteristics. Premium Filters, unlocked through Canvass Pro or Canvass Max, provide advanced property, energy, and solar insights. These require a paid subscription to access.
What’s Free vs. What’s Locked?
Free Filters (Available on All Accounts)
All users have access to Resident and Property Filters, including:
Occupancy
Filter for Owner Only or Renter Only households
Year Built
Enter a date range to find homes built within specific years
Home Size (sqft)
Filter by minimum and/or maximum square footage
Lot Size
Input a range to target specific lot sizes
These filters allow you to understand the general layout of your canvassing area without needing a subscription.
Premium Filters unlock deeper property, energy, and solar insights, including last sold date, high energy usage indicators, home upgrades, existing solar systems, cancelled permits, bankrupt installers, and solar financing data
