Property Pin Shows Incorrect Distance (Mobile)

If you're standing right next to a property pin on the map, but the app says the property is far away from your location, please contact support.

Why This Happens

The pin is displaying in the correct spot on your map, but the underlying location coordinates in our system are incorrect. This causes the app to calculate the wrong distance between you and the property, even though the pin appears to be right next to you.

What to Do

Contact the Terros team immediately and let us know:

  • The property address

  • That the pin shows next to you on the map, but the distance shows it's far away

  • What distance the app is displaying

  • Screenshot if possible

What Happens Next

The property's coordinates likely need to be updated because our location data is wrong. When you report it:

  1. Our team will review your report

  2. We'll correct the coordinates in our system

  3. We'll notify the data provider about the error

  4. The distance calculation will be accurate on future visits

Important:

  • Corrections may take time - We submit data correction requests in bulk, so fixes may not happen immediately

  • You can still work the property even if the distance displays incorrectly

  • Reporting these issues helps improve accuracy for your entire team
