What is Archiving?

Archiving a user is a way to deactivate their account without deleting their data. Archived users cannot log in, but their historical data remains in the system for reporting and record-keeping purposes.

What Happens When You Archive a User?

Account Access

  • Login disabled - The user can no longer log in to Terros (web or mobile)

  • Manager removed - The user's manager assignment is cleared

  • Account marked as deleted - The user's account is flagged as archived

Data Retention

Archiving a user does NOT delete:

  • Historical data - All past contacts, pitches, leads, accounts, and events remain in the system

  • Stats and reports - The user's performance data stays visible in reports and dashboards

  • Pinned users - If the user was pinned in stats dashboards, they remain pinned

  • Team memberships - Historical team associations are preserved

  • Audit trails - All activity logs and timestamps remain intact

What Gets Removed

  • Authentication access - User can no longer log in

  • Active assignments - Manager relationship cleared

  • Active status - User no longer appears in active user lists (unless "Show Archived" is enabled)

Can Users Be Permanently Deleted?

No, it is not possible to permanently delete a user from Terros. Users can only be archived to preserve data integrity and historical records.
