How to Clear Downloaded Locations (Mobile)

When using the Canvass feature, you download location data for offline access. Over time, this can take up storage space. Here's how to clear it:

Steps To Clear Downloaded Locations

  1. Open the Terros mobile app

  2. Go to the Canvass tab (bottom center button)

  3. Tap the Settings gear icon (top right corner)

  4. Scroll down to Map Settings section

  5. Find Stored locations

  6. Tap the red Clear Downloaded Locations button

  7. Confirm the action

What happens when you clear downloaded locations:

  • All offline map data will be deleted

  • You'll need to re-download areas to work offline

  • The app will reload automatically

  • Your pins/dispositions are NOT deleted (they're stored on the server)

  • Your account history and canvass records remain intact

When to clear downloaded locations:

  • Your device is running low on storage

  • You're experiencing map loading issues

  • You've moved to a new territory and don't need old locations

  • The app is running slowly

How to check storage usage:

  • On the Canvass Settings screen, you'll see: "X / Y sectors"

  • This shows how many location sectors you have downloaded
