How to View Account Workflow History (Web)

Workflow history shows a timeline of every action taken on an account — who performed it, when, and what stage the account moved to.

Navigating to Workflow History

  1. Go to the Accounts page

  2. Click on an account to open its detail view

  3. Scroll down to the Workflow History section

Understanding the Timeline

The workflow history is displayed as a vertical timeline with two types of entries:

Action Entries

Each action entry shows:

  • User name — Who performed the action

  • Date and time — Full timestamp of when it was performed

  • Action name — Which action was taken

  • Distance from property — How far the user was from the account's location when they performed the action (if location tracking was enabled)

Stage Entries

Between action entries, you'll see stage markers showing when the account transitioned from one stage to another. These display:

  • Stage icon — The icon configured for that stage

  • Stage name — With the label "Stage:" followed by the name

  • Date — When the transition occurred

Sorting the Timeline

By default, the timeline shows the most recent activity at the top. You can toggle the sort order:

  • Click the sort button to switch between Newest first and Oldest first

  • Your preference is saved for future visits

Collapsing the Section

If you don't need to see the full history, click the collapse toggle on the section header to minimize it. The collapsed state is remembered between visits.
