What You Need
A Google or Microsoft calendar connected to your Terros account.
How It Works
Your available timeslots are determined by the closer availability settings configured by your company or team lead. Terros checks your connected calendar on top of those settings. If your external calendar shows you as "busy" during a time block, that slot is automatically removed from your availability. No one can book you during that time.
Blocking Out Time
Open your connected Google or Microsoft calendar
Create a new event on the date and time you want to block
Make sure the event is marked as Busy (not Free)
Save the event
That's it. Terros will see the busy event and remove those timeslots from your availability.
Common Scenarios
Taking a full day off β Create an all-day event marked as Busy on your external calendar. All of your timeslots for that day will be hidden.
Blocking a few hours β Create an event covering just the hours you need off. Only the timeslots that overlap with that event will be removed.
Blocking multiple days β Create a multi-day event (for example, a vacation). All timeslots across those days will be hidden.
Things to Know
Your closer availability must already be configured for you by your company or team lead. This feature only works on top of that existing schedule.
Your calendar must be synced with Terros for this to work. If you haven't connected your calendar, ask your admin to help you set it up.
The event must show as Busy. Events marked as Free will not block your timeslots.
Changes are picked up automatically. Once the event is on your calendar, Terros will respect it the next time someone tries to book you.
When the event passes, your normal availability comes back on its own. You don't need to do anything.
