What Changed
In the legacy system, stats columns were generic and shared across all users. With workflows, each stage and action in your workflow can generate its own stats columns. Whether those columns show once (shared) or twice (split by setter and closer) is controlled by your Closer Interaction setting.
How Closer Interaction Controls Stats
The Closer Interaction preference determines how workflow stage stats are attributed and displayed across the Stats page.
Full — Every workflow stage column appears twice: once for the setter and once for the closer. A stage called "Sold" would show as both "Sold (Setter)" and "Sold (Closer)". Stats are tracked separately so managers can see what each role contributed. This is the standard setup for companies with a dedicated setter/closer model.
Partial — Workflow stage columns appear once per stage but close events are still enabled. All users are treated as self-gen for stats purposes, meaning setter and closer activity rolls up into one number. There is no role distinction in the column picker.
None — Workflow stage columns appear once per stage. Close events are completely disabled. There are no closer stats of any kind.
What Stats Are Available
When workflows are enabled, the following column groups appear in the Stats column picker:
Workflow Stages — One column per workflow stage that has reporting enabled (configured in the stage settings). Stages set as "Prospect" are excluded. Each stage can show a count, days since last activity, and average time of day for first and last activity of that type.
Activity — Columns for each workflow action that has reporting enabled, plus Days Worked and Hours Worked. These always appear once regardless of Closer Interaction, as actions are attributed to whoever performed them.
Days Since — How many days since a user last hit each tracked stage or action. Useful for identifying reps who haven't had recent activity.
Average Start / End Time of Day — Average time of day a rep first or last performed an activity. Only appears if the stage or action has Time of Day reporting enabled.
When Closer Interaction is set to Full, workflow stage columns are generated separately for the setter role and the closer role. A rep who sets appointments and a closer who closes them each get their own version of the same stage column.
How Stats Are Attributed
Setter gets credit for stages and actions they perform in the field — knocking, setting appointments, advancing accounts through the pipeline.
Closer gets credit for close events and outcomes tied to consultation appointments. The system excludes self-generated activities from closer stats so a rep who is their own closer doesn't get double-counted.
Self Gen — When Closer Interaction is set to Partial, all activity is treated as self-gen. There is no setter/closer split, and stats roll up into a single number per column.
Archived Stages and Actions
Archived workflow stages and actions are automatically filtered out of the Stats column picker. If a stage or action was archived, it will no longer appear as an available column. Existing saved column layouts that reference archived items will stop showing data for those columns.
Common Scenarios
We use a setter/closer model and want separate stats for each role
Set Closer Interaction to Full. Workflow stage columns will appear for both setter and closer in the column picker.
We use closers but only want one set of stats
Set Closer Interaction to Partial. One column per stage, close events still work, but stats are merged.
We don't use closers at all
Set Closer Interaction to None. One column per stage, no close events.
A stage isn't showing up in the column picker
Check the stage's report settings in Settings > Workflows. The Count, Days Since, and Time of Day options each need to be enabled for those columns to appear. Also confirm the stage is not archived.
