When that happens, add the property manually from Canvass so the pin can be saved and used like other Canvass locations.
Search for the Address First
Open Canvass, then tap Search.
Search for the place or address. If the address appears, select it from the results.
If the address does not appear, or if selecting it only moves the map without opening an existing property, you may need to add the location manually.
Add a Missing Canadian Property
To add the property:
Open Canvass.
Open Tools.
Tap Add Location.
Move the map until the crosshair is centered on the correct home.
Tap Add.
Review the New Location form.
Fill in or correct the address fields.
Tap Add again.
The form includes:
Address
City
State
Postal
Country
Pin Location
For Canadian addresses, enter the province or territory abbreviation in the State field and enter CA in the Country field.
If Add Location Is Not Available
The Add Location option only appears for users who have permission to add locations.
If you do not see Add Location in Tools, ask your manager or admin to confirm whether your role can add missing properties.
After the Pin Is Added
After the property is added, Terros creates a location for that pin and opens it in Canvass.
Once the location is saved and synced, it can be searched and selected like other Canvass properties.
Things to Check
If a Canadian address still does not appear:
Make sure you are online.
Try searching with a shorter version of the address.
Zoom in on the correct neighborhood and add the location from the map.
Confirm the address fields are filled in before tapping Add.
