How to Perform a Screen Recording (iOS)

Record your iPhone screen so you can show Terros Support exactly what happened.

Add Screen Recording to Control Center

If the Screen Recording control is not already in Control Center:

  1. Swipe down from the top-right corner of the screen to open Control Center.

  2. Touch and hold the background of Control Center.

  3. Tap Add a Control.

  4. Tap Screen Recording.

You only need to add this control once.

Record Your Screen

  1. Open Control Center by swiping down from the top-right corner of the screen.

  2. Tap the Screen Recording button and wait for the three-second countdown.

  3. Return to Terros and reproduce the issue or complete the steps you want to show.

  4. To stop, tap the red indicator at the top of the screen, then tap Stop. You can also reopen Control Center and tap the red Screen Recording button.

Your recording is saved in the Photos app.

Record With Audio

Before starting the recording, touch and hold the Screen Recording button in Control Center. Tap Microphone to turn it on, then tap Start Recording.

Things to Know

  • Some apps may not allow their audio or video to be recorded.

  • You cannot record the screen while using screen mirroring.
