Written by Helaina Parks

Open Settings

Open Settings in the Terros app. The General section includes the settings described below.

Color Scheme

Choose how Terros appears on your device:

  • System matches your iPhone's current appearance setting.

  • Always Light keeps Terros in light mode.

  • Always Dark keeps Terros in dark mode.

Customize Your Navigation Bar

Use Customize Navigation Bar to control the tabs shown at the bottom of Terros.

  1. In Settings, under General, tap Customize Navigation Bar.

  2. Review the Selected section. These are the tabs currently shown in your navigation bar.

  3. To add a tab, find it in Available and tap the add button.

  4. To remove a tab, tap the remove button beside it in Selected.

  5. Drag selected tabs into the order you want them to appear.

  6. Tap Save when you are finished.

You can select up to three tabs. Keep at least one tab selected to save your changes.

Choose Who the Change Applies To

If your account has permission to manage navigation for more than yourself, you can use Edit tabs for to choose a scope:

  • Personal changes apply only to you.

  • Team changes apply to members of the selected team.

  • Company changes apply to everyone in the company.

When the option is available, select Use Default Tabs to return to the navigation bar set by your team or company. If you can view the navigation bar but cannot edit it, Terros shows the current items and lets you know that you do not have permission to make changes.

Manage Notification Preferences

Use Notification Preferences to choose which Terros updates you receive and how you receive them.

  1. In Settings, under General, tap Notification Preferences.

  2. Use the Push and Email switches on the All Notifications row to turn each delivery method on or off for every notification type.

  3. Use the switches on individual rows to customize specific notification types.

  4. Tap Save to apply your choices.

Each row has separate Push and Email controls. When Push or Email is turned off in All Notifications, the matching controls for individual notification types are unavailable until you turn that delivery method back on.

Depending on your account, the available notification types can include:

  • close events, shadow events, interviews, and tasks

  • plan submissions and reviews

  • evaluation assignments, requests, reviews, and updates

  • messages, area assignments, and competitions

  • recording scores, assignments, feedback, and event suggestions

The list can vary based on your account and company setup.

Terros Beta Program

If you see Terros Beta Program, turn it on to receive early access to new features and improvements. You can turn it off at any time.
