Task lockout helps your company make sure required work is completed. When it is turned on and you have an open required task, some parts of the Terros iOS app remain locked until you resolve the task.
What you see
When you open a locked part of the app, Terros shows Complete Your Tasks and lists the required tasks that are blocking access.
You can still use Home, Search, and Messages while task lockout is active. Terros also keeps open any feature that a blocking task sends you to, so you can complete the work.
Complete the required task
On the lockout screen, tap View Tasks.
On Home, find the Tasks section.
Tap All Tasks.
Open each task marked Required and complete its available action.
Return to the part of the app you were trying to use.
Once no open required tasks remain, the lockout is removed automatically.
If you cannot complete a task
Ask your manager to review or remove the task if it was assigned by mistake or you cannot complete it.
Ask your company administrator to review the company’s task lockout setting and help resolve the task.
If the task still appears after you complete it, pull down on the task list to refresh.
Things to know
Task lockout only applies when your company has enabled it.
Optional, completed, not-yet-open, and expired tasks do not trigger task lockout.
Open required tasks are shown in priority order.
A task may keep its related feature available so you are not blocked from completing it.
If your manager or administrator cannot resolve the problem, contact Terros Support.
