Close Event vs Personal Comeback (iOS)

Learn the difference between a Closer Calendar (Close) event and a Personal Comeback in the Terros iOS app, and when to use each.

Written by Hunter Allred

Closer Calendar (Close Event)

Use this when you want a customer appointment tracked by your team.

  • Books a slot on the closer's calendar

  • Shows up for the closer and anyone else with visibility into that calendar

  • The event type is labeled Close on the calendar and Closer Calendar in event details

Example: You've set an appointment for a closer to present a solar proposal and close the sale.

Personal Comeback

Use this for a personal reminder to revisit a property yourself — nothing more than a note on your own calendar.

  • Schedules a follow-up visit for you, not a closer

  • Only you can see a Personal Comeback on your calendar — teammates and managers do not see it in shared or team calendar views

  • The event type is labeled Comeback on the calendar and Personal Comeback in event details

Example: A homeowner says "I'm busy now, come back tomorrow at 3pm." Create a Personal Comeback so it's on your calendar for tomorrow.

Quick Rule

  • Booking a closer for a customer appointment? Use Closer Calendar.

  • Reminding yourself to come back later? Use Personal Comeback.

Where You'll Make This Choice

From an account's location in Canvass, tap Add new event. If your company has closer scheduling enabled, you'll be prompted to choose Personal Comeback or Closer Calendar. If your company hasn't set up closer scheduling, only Personal Comeback is offered.
