Overview
Quick Filters let you instantly apply a saved combination of filters in Canvass. Instead of rebuilding the same filters every time, tap a Quick Filter chip once and immediately see only the homes or sales activity that match your criteria. Quick Filters work independently for Property filters and Sales Activity filters — each mode has its own set of saved filters and built-in presets.
How to Create a Quick Filter
Open Canvass and tap the Filter icon to open Filters.
Turn filters on and set up the property or sales activity criteria you want to save.
In the Quick Filters row, tap the small filter options button (it shows a count badge when filters are active).
Choose Create quick filter.
In the Save Quick Filter prompt, enter a filter name and tap Save.
Your new Quick Filter now appears as a chip in the Quick Filters row, alongside any built-in presets.
How to Apply a Quick Filter
Tap any chip in the Quick Filters row to instantly apply that filter combination. The chip is highlighted when its filters match your current selection.
Built-In Presets
Canvass includes a few built-in Quick Filter presets:
Sales Activity mode: "My sales today" (reps) or "Team sales today" (managers) — no subscription required.
Property mode (requires Canvass Pro or Max, depending on the preset): Bankrupt Solar Installers, Bankrupt Solar Financiers, Canceled Solar Permits (under 3 years), High Energy Use Permits, New Move-Ins, and New Roof (under 5 years).
If your account doesn't have the entitlement a preset requires, it appears with "Requires Canvass Pro subscription" and a View Plans button instead of being applied directly.
How to Manage Your Quick Filters
Open the Quick Filters row's options button and choose Edit quick filters. This opens the Quick Filters screen.
Under Your Quick Filters: swipe a saved filter to reveal Rename; tap Edit in the top-right corner to reorder (drag the handle) or delete (tap the trash icon) your saved filters; tap a saved filter to open its details, where you can Clone it under a new name or Delete it.
Under Presets, built-in filters can't be deleted or reordered, but you can tap one to view its details and Hide it, or Show it again from the list if it's already hidden.
Resetting Filters
From the Quick Filters row's options button, choose Reset filters to clear all active property or sales activity filters for the current mode.
Things to Know
Quick Filters are tied to your account and the filter mode (Property vs. Sales Activity) they were created in.
Built-in presets are entitlement-gated — not every user will see the same presets, and hidden presets can always be shown again.
The Quick Filters row can be expanded to show every chip on its own line, or collapsed to a single scrollable row.
